So, Mom came out here for a few days. She arrived right before I picked Gabriel up from preschool on Tuesday and left around noon today (Thursday).

I headed out and got my errands done on Tuesday, then called home to see if she was here already (she was), swung by the apartment to pick her up, and we both picked up Gabriel from preschool. Needless to say, Gabriel was super happy to see her. He got a huge smile on his face and ran to her immediately. It was neat. We spent the rest of the afternoon around the apartment and Rob brought Chinese food from Peking House home for dinner.

Yesterday (Wednesday) we had to stay in the house until at least 1:30pm because I had a CLE web seminar I had to get done. When that was finished, we went to Bubba's for lunch. Gabriel ate his cheese curds, but wouldn't touch his corn dog (of course not, it's meat). When my Mom asked "are you going to eat that or am I going to have to bean you on the head with it" Gabriel's reply was "bean me". Heh.

We then went to a new Walmart that opened up - a really large one with a grocery store and everything in it to pick up some things my Nana (Gabriel's Super Nana) needed (compact powder, lipstick, and a new hair dryer). Gabriel got a Pinkie Pie My Little Pony for being good and I grabbed some hair ties. We then came home and chilled around the house.

Rob brought P.F. Chang's home for dinner and we all watched Big Brother and some other random shows.

This morning, Rob took Gabriel to preschool on his way to work and my Mom and I slept in. We had set the alarm for 9:15am, but both of us were exhausted, so we ended up sleeping until around 11:30am. It was nice, but now most of my day is shot. Oh well, I needed the sleep and so did she.

She headed out to visit my Nana and then head home around noonish. Now I'm just getting some things done online and will be leaving soon to pick Gabriel up from preschool. Tomorrow is his last day of preschool and he starts Kindergarten next week on Thursday, September 1. Scary.
