Starting yesterday and going for the rest of the school year (unless I can get an out of the house real job) I'm volunteering at Gabriel's school every Thursday afternoon. Yesterday was my first day, and it got cut very short.

When I got there, Gabriel's teacher had me head to the copy room to make some copies of what the kids were going to be working on. While I was in the copy room, I saw Gabriel walking down the hallway. He was brought to me and told that they were on their way to take him to see the school nurse because he had just thrown up.

There's some sort of stomach bug going around. Tuesday morning when they were doing their morning line up one of the kids threw up in line. At least Gabriel ran out of his classroom and to the bathroom and threw up in one of the sinks.

So, after making the copies I had to leave and take him home.

He seems to be doing fine today, but they have a 24 hour rule (you have to wait at least 24 hours after the last vomit to bring them back into school) so he's out today as well. He seems to be doing a lot better, so chances are he'll be back on Monday.
