I had a doctor's appointment this morning. My breathing problems seem to be from acute bronchitis. It's giving me bronchial spasms and causing my asthma to act up, hence why I can't breathe. If the rescue inhaler doesn't work, I'm supposed to get my butt into the office or the ER right away.

I also got my flu shot, so I'm covered for that this season. Yay!

Gabriel's been in school for one month and four days... and already has had his first visit to the nurse's office. He got his hand closed in a door. Ouch. They iced it and didn't need to call me 'cause he seemed fine after a bit and it didn't swell much. I checked it out and while it's sore, it's definitely not broken.

So, my birthday is coming up. If any of you are considering getting me anything for it (and please don't feel obligated), please contact my husband Rob first. Thanks!

I've started a Facebook blog for Mortimer the Mini Snail. It's my first step in my solo venture to try and get work either promoting fictional characters online or doing social media work. It's fun and it gives me something to show prospective clients. My dream would be if the Squishable company would hire me on to do this for several personas of their plushies. A girl can dream, right? At the very least, it's fun to do.

Anyway, if you're on Facebook, give Mortimer a "Like" and follow along on his adventures!
