I know I haven't been posting as much on here as I used to. I think that's partly due to Facebook and party because I don't have a lot to say. It's just the same ol' same ol' day in and day out. There's not really much of interest to say.

The sickies have been going around. About a week and a half ago I caught a cold, and now the cold is gone and I have bronchitis that just won't seem to go away. Rob and Gabriel came down with the cold this week as well. Rob stayed home from work on Monday and Gabriel stayed home from school on both Monday and Tuesday.

Gabriel and I have both decided on our Halloween costumes. He wants to be Spiderman and so we got him a really neat reversible costume. One side is the regular Spiderman and the other is Venom. He wants to use the Spiderman side. I've decided to go as the Red Queen. I found a neat black and red lacy dress from a place called Holy Clothing (though I don't yet know if it fits), a tiara, a flamingo purse, and an old red heart tipped riding crop that we just had lying around. If the dress fits, I'll be good to go. If not, I'll need to rethink things.

Even though both Gabriel and I have our costumes, we're still making runs to all of the Halloween stores that have sprung up around here. It's my favorite holiday and Gabriel's as well, and he loves to wander around Halloween stores. When he's a bit older, I need to get him out to Los Angeles in October and take him to the Halloween Haunt at Knott's. He'd love it. As it stands now, we're thinking of taking him to some real haunted houses this year if he's interested.
