I made a whole lot of copies and learned how to feed construction paper into the machine without jamming it. Yay! During the computer lab time, everyone was having a problem trying to plug their headphones in. For some reason the usual method of [1.) plug the speaker into the computer 2.) turn the speaker on 3.) plug the green part of the headphone into the speaker] wasn't working. I tried to fix it and so did Gabriel's teacher. Who ended up finding the solution? Gabriel, who had already fixed his when he saw the problem. Seems you had to unplug the speaker, turn it off, and ignore it completely. Then, plug the green part of the headphones directly into the computer. Heh. So yeah, Gabriel is the new five year old tech support. His teacher and I joked that when he gets better with his conversational skills they should just let him do tech support during lab time. He's also very independent and slightly uppity. They were all supposed to do Mega Math. Gabriel shook his head and said "No. I will not do Mega Math. I want to do Math Circus." and then opened that program. It was fine, in the end as long as he was doing some sort of math program his teacher was fine with it - and he was really good at it too!
