So I went back to work on Monday. I have only worked 1 full day, Monday and Wednesday were partial days. It feels good to be back to a more normal routine, but I am still tired and a bit sore. It is hard to be home at night, and not able to interact with Jade as I normally would. I really want to pick her up and give her a big hug, but no lifting yet. I am still slightly amazed that you can have surgery and be back to work in 3-5 days. I have a check up tomorrow with the surgeon, but I doubt there will be any issues.

In other news, Paul has joined the Nanowrimo challenge this year. I am so proud of him. He is out now with Jade getting some dinner, and letting me rest a bit.
