I can't believe this year is nearly done. The holidays were great, Jade had so much fun. She got a bike for Christmas, a cute purple "big girl" bike. (With training wheels.) She also got just about everything else. Barbie dolls and clothes, my little pony playset and ponies,jewelry, fairies, craft stuff, jewelry making stuff, moon sand, books, movies, clothes...just SO much stuff! Unlike last year, She came out and saw the tree, and pretty much just opened stuff non stop. Once everything was open, then she went back and started playing with stuff. My grandma made her a crocheted decorative doll for her room that is just gorgeous. And my mom got to be here to see it all. Paul cooked several amazing meals, including a full xmas turkey dinner. Yum!

As for me, I got my nintendo ds. Woot! And several games to go with it. Much fun. I like it. I have been playing Brain Age, and Age of Empires:Age of Kings. We also got a bunch of new kitchen gadgets, a deep fryer, a foreman grill, dutch oven...lots of cool stuff. Now I just have to clean up and get rid of at least 4 bags of wrapping and packaging. Can I just say that the packaging on kids toys SUCKS!!! Eight million little twisty ties, 10 miles of tape and way too much plastic packs. Toy companies must really be worried about those 4 year old thieves. Opening the gifts was easy, getting them out of the box was painful!

Sadly Mom had to leave the next day, but we did have a good visit. Jade got to spend lots of time with Grandma. :)
