1. Sunglasses (I looked for a pair at Sunglass Hut at the mall and the one pair that was acceptable looking – in other words, I didn’t look like a bug-eyed Roswell-dwelling alien when I put them on – was $269. Anyplace with “Hut” in its name should not be charging prices like that.) 2. Gift for a friend of Rebecca’s Things that I exited Target with: 1. Sunglasses – two pairs. Total cost = less than 10% of the cost of one pair from the Hut. 2. Makeup case, about a dozen types of makeup, teddy bear – gifts for Rebecca’s friend 3. Nightgown 4. Robe 5. Jeans 6. Pillows – two 7. Chenille throws – two Things I looked at, but did not buy: 1. Slippers 2. Clock 3. Placemats 4. Sweater 5. Pajamas Total time spent in Target: 25 minutes Total amount spent at Target: Far more than I would have spent at Sunglass Hut. Fortune at Chinese restaurant: People are won over by your persuasive nature. Heh. Movies: The Purple Rose of Cairo. Interesting concept marred by the wan, pathetic dishrag of a character Mia Farrow plays. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
