In one of yesterday's sessions I had to extemporaneously answer a question that required a delicate blend of just enough information without committing to anything specific. I always feel rather mealy-mouthed about those types of statements, but I had three people come up to me afterwards and compliment the answer - one client, one employee and one industry analyst - which I'm going to take as a clear representative sample of the entire population :)
The alarm woke me up in the middle of a dream this morning, which always results in feeling tired for a good part of the morning. The dream involved my mother-in-law showing me a baby someone in the family had just had. The infant boy was no bigger than a kitten and fit in the palm of her hand. He looked like he had just been born - his eyes were closed and he was covered in some sort of cheesy film. There was another part of the dream in which I was walking past a female singer who had just finished a concert and I complimented her on her performance. See looked a lot like one of the actresses who appears frequently in teen movies - Leelee Sobieski I think. I had trouble talking to her because I was licking guacamole off my fingers at the time. Still another chapter involved seeing a mouse in my hotel room, which then turned into a rat. (We had been talking at dinner about an experience a client had a few years ago here in Philadelphia in another hotel in which he did see a rat in his room that the hotel staff could never locate.)
