2007-04-05 1:01 PM More books, more ARCs Read/Post Comments (0) |
The cleaning thang has eased up somewhat (ok, the spirit really is mostly kind of sort of willing but as usual, the flesh is weenie) so I've got some more hardcovers and ARCs available. Ok, I admit that many of these are listed because I found them when i was moving stacks to find a book for someone requesting it off the swap list...which I still haven't found. And because the TBR boxes got in the way of the library box which had to be dug out for the library pick-up today. ARGH! But hey, look what i found in the mean time! APOLOGIES if I've listed these before but I thought it easier than going through all the past posts.
NEW and available! Remember the deal is $8/hardcover, $5/ARC. If you buy more than 2 hc's, price goes down. Buy enough, you get something for free. I'm SO easy. ARCs available these are all $5 Jeff Stetson, BLOOD ON THE LEAVES (a book I really liked. Apparently, i was the only one who did however, as it seems to have disappeared without a trace after publication) Asa Larsson, THE BLOOD SPILT Reggie Nadelson, DISTURBED EARTH Stephen Booth, THE DEAD PLACE (yeah, I do think he's a good writer. But I can no longer put up with Fry - I actually gave up at least one or two books back) Michael Koryta, A WELCOME GRAVE Neil McMahon, LONE CREEK Bob Morris, BERMUDA SCHWARTZ Janice Kaplan, LOOKS TO DIE FOR Garry Disher, SNAPSHOT One sf ARC - Hal Duncan, INK, THE BOOK OF ALL HOURS Barbara Nadel, THE OTTOMAN CAGE (discounted because it's a hugely hard to read ARC; no margins, typeface seems crowded, so $4 for this one) these are all $3 as they are ARCs for mass market pbs Rosemary Martin, IT'S A MOD, MOD, MOD MOD MURDER L T Fawkes, EARLY EIGHT John Ramsey Miller, UPSIDE DOWN/INSIDE OUT (yes,it's a twofer.) Paul Levine, DEEP BLUE ALIBI Rick Mofina, EVERY FEAR Casey Daniels, DON OF THE DEAD (best darn joke cover on an ARC I've seen in ages) 3 sf Carrie Vaughn, KITTY AND THE MIDNIGHT HOUR Frank Herbert et al., THE ROAD TO DUNE Susan Kearney, THE DARE (is it romance, fantasy, sf? you decide) HARDCOVERS AVAILABLE ($8, buy more than 2, prices go down) Mayra Montero, DANCING TO "ALMENDRA" Alexandra Sokoloff, THE HARROWING Russell Andrews, HADES Barry Maitland, NO TRACE Aaron Elkins, TURNCOAT Charles Atkins, THE CADAVER'S BALL Helene Tursten, THE GLASS DEVIL Dorothy Johnston, THE WHITE TOWER Hope McIntyre, HOW TO SEDUCE A GHOST (avail in pb as well) Simon Brett, Ed. THE DETECTION COLLECTION Trade PB ($6) Taffy Cannon, BLOOD MATTERS Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
