They're back. Like fruit flies, the card tables that have deceptive political slogans or comments on them which really represent the supporters of a certain bizarro politician (whose name I'm leaving out, just in case his followers have really good search engines) have infested my neighborhood. You might have seen them in airports - probably only in the US.I don't want to deal with an explanation in case it attracts attention, I'll just report the conversation, which baffled me. I did not want to engage with these people.

Woman standing near table: "Are you political?"
Me: "Yes, but not your kind of political."
Woman: "Why not? Are you prejudiced?"
Me: having NO idea what that means, sitting there baffled and wondering what that has to do with my disagreeing with a man I consider well, unpleasant at best, and a scary, ill-informed, marginal, possibly anti-Semitic, elitism but mostly confused. Prejudiced? Against what? White guys? Paranoid thinking? Um....

And the best I could do, was to say

"No. Smart."

And she laughed happily as I went passed into the store.

I wonder what kind of prejudice I was supposed to cop to. Who answers "yes" to that question?
