Valentine's Day was really nice this year.

My husband strategically placed little gifts all over the place for me to find. I had set my alarm for 6am to get up and get ready for work, but when 6am rolled around I turned it off and went back to sleep. (I have a tendency to do that since I don't have a set work schedule and I can go in whenever I want) Charlie woke me up before he left for work at 6:45 but it took me a good 15 minutes or so to actually get up. When I finally rolled out of bed and headed into the bathroom I was greeted with a card stuck to the mirror. It stated that I was going to find little gifts throughout the day so I should keep my eyes peeled.

I found 5 small gifts throughout the day (various candy and food items, including one waiting for me on my desk at work.) My final gift was given to me when I got home from work that day. It was the Brak Show DVD, and it is the coolest. I LOVE that show and we watched three episodes last night after we got back from dinner. All in all it was a very nice night.

This weekend we are headed down to visit my family (Parents in West Palm Beach, my brother Scott in Orlando, and my Grandmother in Gainesville) It will be nice to get out of town and go to super fun places like Disney and Universal. Oh yeah, and seeing my family will be nice too... Ha!
