End of Month Recap

I had forgotten that I had even written anything in the early days of this month so I had planned to do this end of the month recap to make sure I had a January post. But thinking about it, not too much happened this month outside of our vacation so I guess I will just write about that...

Friday Jan 13- Saturday Jan 21: Charlie and I took 9 days and headed down to South Florida for some fun in the sun and to feed our addiction (okay MY addiction) to Disney.
We spent the first three days at my parents house in Hobe Sound, FL (near West Palm Beach). It was a very nice visit. We didn't see much of my little brother Kyle, but he is 17 after all and one cannot expect a 17 year old to spend time with family when friends are so much cooler... We did all go bowling on Sunday though, and dang, my dad is a GOOD bowler. He got 6 total strikes in the game and 2 spares. He only missed a total of 6 pins out of 110... That is ridiculous.
On Monday Jan 16, we headed up to Orlando to meet my brother Scott and visit Universals Studios (he works there doing shows). Monday night we stayed off site and Tues-Fri nights we stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, with giraffes and zebras and wildabeasts on property. SOOOOOOO Cool!!!!!
The next few days we vistied all the Disney Theme Parks, we saw Fantasmic at MGM, went miniature golfing at Disney's Winter Summerlandand, had dinner one night at Pirate's Dinner Theater. It's kind of like medieval times, but with Pirates and this big Pirate ship and fighting and stunt work. (My brother plays a pirate in the show)
On Saturday Jan 21 we (begrudgingly) got back in the car (well I begrudgingly got back in the car) and headed home. We had a great time and since we bought annual Disney passes, I hope we can get down there again soon.

Really the only other thing that stands out this month is that I got my ears pierced. I know that sounds pretty lame but it should be known that I have both a nose ring and my cartiledge pierced on my left ear but my lobes were unpierced. I wanted hoops so a couple of girlfriends and I went to a peircer (not the mall.... ugh). I got my ears pierced, Jessica got her nose pierced and Christine got her bellybutton pierced.
Next outing... Tattoos!!!! ;)
I guess that is it for now. I should have some news towards the end of the week, but I don't want to blow a perfectly good February post early.
