2006-01-31 12:46 PM Goals and whatnot Mood: no really, I am busy Read/Post Comments (0) |
A few goals I am working toward acheiving over the next few months:
work out at least two days a week We have a very nice new workout facility here at the university which I can access for free so I REALLY have no excuse. watch MUCH less tv I seem to be spending most of my free time watching tv and I'm thinking that is not a good thing. I am going to limit my tv time to watching The Office, My Name is Earl, Scrubs, Everybody Hates Chris, CSI, SNL and the local news. (I know this sounds like a lot of TV, but it really isn't, comparatively. And I don't count movies from Netflix as watching tv.) read more books I was part of a book club for over a year but it disbanded early last year and I haven't really done much reading since. I need to make it a point to get book suggestions from people so I don't feel lost at the library. actually get work done, at work This sounds simple enough, but you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get work done in my office at the university. (believe it or not this has nothing to do with goofing off online while working) I need to bring in a pair of ear phones so people will stop bothering me continually. make time for myself With two jobs it is hard to find time to squeeze everything else in, but first and foremost I need to find time for me so I don't feel so overwhelmed. I recently cut back my hours at Target but they won't take effect for a few more weeks. Even if my workout is the only time I get for myself, I need to make sure I use it reflect on myself. I will post updates over the next few weeks to show how I am progressing. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
