Okay I know I promised a Feb entry and here it is.

I finally bought a new car. (well, we bought it). I got a black 2006 Nissan Xterra X.


This is a Nissan stock photo but it looks exactly like ours.

We traded in the Kia Sportage for it. They gave me $1500 trade-in. For those of you who knew the Kia well, you will realize that is amazing... Suckers!!!! Especially considering that both side mirrors were hanging off the car, it was missing the front right blinker entirely (no casing, no nothing), the left rear brake light cover had a hole in it, the driver's sun visor wouldn't stay up and eventually fell out of the ceiling all together,the interior light stopped working years ago, the heat sheild rattled whenever I drove (it got worse when the A/C was on), the horn worked every few times and the doors would automatically lock as soon as you took the key out of the door.

I could go on and on and on... And believe it or not, this vehicle had never been in an accident. It was just slowly self destructing.

I love the Xterra and am very happy with our choice. :)
