Buffalo Gal Judi Griggs I'm a communications professional, writer, cynic, mother, wife and royal pain. The order depends on the day. I returned to my hometown in November 2004 after a couple of decades of heat and hurricanes. I can polish pristine copy, but not here. This is my morning exercise -- 20-minute takes without a net or spellcheck. It's easier than sit ups for me. No guarantee what it will be for you. 2004-03-14 7:57 PM Mapquest warrior Spent the day as a character in a bad video game on the blue highways of nowhere Pennsylvania. Think of the frog in Frogger with sometimes freezing rain, semi-trucks, steep mountain grades and little towns that pop up suddenly around each bend with speedtraps and stop lights.
I will fall asleep tonight chanting "I will not Mapquest. I will not Mapquest." Tomorrow brings a new project, a new day and a brand new atlas I just bought. It will be a better day. Copyright 2004 Judi Griggs Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
