Buffalo Gal Judi Griggs I'm a communications professional, writer, cynic, mother, wife and royal pain. The order depends on the day. I returned to my hometown in November 2004 after a couple of decades of heat and hurricanes. I can polish pristine copy, but not here. This is my morning exercise -- 20-minute takes without a net or spellcheck. It's easier than sit ups for me. No guarantee what it will be for you. 2004-09-01 10:33 AM No whining zone Can something as simple as flipping a page really mean a fresh start?
Probably not, but I'm going to do my best to create the illusion. As of today, I will produce pages daily and not miss any gym trips. I'll celebrate my friends and family and not mourn those who are away. Call it an Old Year's Resolution. I've got three months to pull this one out of the ditch. It's time to focus on solutions. Good things are on the horizon. In less than two weeks, I'm making a quick New York City run. In three weeks, we're hosting a Mardi Gras party for Amy. Next month we're taking Anne to Orlando for her birthday / Springsteen REM Change the Vote concert. My younger daughter is working hard at school and is deliriously in love. It's fun to watch. The house will sell. We will buy the cottage. I will deliver chapters on the chick book and develop the new character for the Seneca mystery. My agent will be pleased. I've got new glasses. Why not a new outlook? It looks like the hurricane turned south some over night. It wouldn't dare get in my way.
