Buffalo Gal Judi Griggs I'm a communications professional, writer, cynic, mother, wife and royal pain. The order depends on the day. I returned to my hometown in November 2004 after a couple of decades of heat and hurricanes. I can polish pristine copy, but not here. This is my morning exercise -- 20-minute takes without a net or spellcheck. It's easier than sit ups for me. No guarantee what it will be for you. 2004-11-25 11:23 AM Without thinking When my feet hit the floor each morning, I open the back door without thinking.
When I open a new loaf of bread, I grab the heel to throw to her without thinking. When I unpack the groceries I look first for her treats without thinking. I step around her space by the front door without thinking. I step out of the shower prepared to share my towel without thinking. I check her water without thinking. I pick up the tennis ball in the yard without thinking there's no one to bring it back. How long will it take to go a day without thinking of Smokie?
