I'm a communications professional, writer, cynic, mother, wife and royal pain. The order depends on the day. I returned to my hometown in November 2004 after a couple of decades of heat and hurricanes. I can polish pristine copy, but not here. This is my morning exercise -- 20-minute takes without a net or spellcheck. It's easier than sit ups for me. No guarantee what it will be for you. On the town

This, my friends, is what it's all about.
Friends met us for drinks after work at our apartment. We eventually filled carry-cups and walked down the street to make our choice from a variety of restaurants on and around the "Chip Strip."
Men were gathered around TV sets all along the way, cheering the return of hockey and the eventually victorious Sabres.
We ate Thai and laughed... and laughed some more. Three of us work for agencies... Charlie told other stories.
Andalyn has the SPCA account and said their was an open call for calendar cats next week while Little Bit groomed in earnest.
He is apparently ready for his close up.
Eleven months to get here, but this was the plan from the start.
Do you think Little Bit will get October (so cliche for a black cat) or one of the wild summer months more appropriate for his large, searchng green eyes?
