My Step-Grandfather (The only one I ever really knew) was admitted to the hospital on Thursday. Not sure he'll be coming back. The prognosis is not good. I honestly hope he gets the chance to return home and can pass-on there with his children at his side. It'll just be more comfortable and peaceful.

He was a very proud man during his life; usually to a fault. But it was an honor knowing him, and I am proud of him for standing up for what he believed in. The Canadian Mounted Police trained him well.
