As a quick update, my wife and I went to my Brother-in-law's wedding in New Hampshire this weekend. It was a wonderful time. I met some long time family friends and everyone loves the new Sister-in-law. The ceremony was flawless and the party afterwards, although not out of control, did continue until they kicked us out. The new couple is currently on their way to Sandals resort!

On a sadder note, I was informed that my grandfather passed away right as we got into our hotel room. He was a good man and I will sorely miss his honest hospitality and hungry interest in life, though his ability to truly enjoy it had passed long ago. I will miss his voice echoing down the hall of my grandparent’s house when we visit. And the feeling of possibility that exuded from his personality when he spoke to my son. A feeling matched only by the actual joy in his eyes when he would talk with him.

To be honest, I think he was happy we were off on a long journey of celebration when it happened. I'm just happy I got to see him before he went...
