Hey you, turkeys! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. However, North Carolina likes me so much it won't let me leave. My flight back to the city was scheduled for Sunday and they announced not only my flight, but the other flight at my gate scheduled to fly out to Ohio were both cancelled. The earliest they could book me in was for tonight (monday). A whole extra day without my bunny! Also, I didn't want to be one of those people who wanted some sort of justice for being inconvienenced...but I was. They didn't give me a free ticket, but they did buy me two meals. Note to self: Never again will I have an airport cheese dog. Don't ask me why it sounded appealing in the first place...I had been in an airport for 5 hours, blurry eyed and had been going through severe bunny withdrawal...who wouldn't make a mistake?! In any event, Derek, (the boyfriend) tells me that Snickers is even fatter than ever. He's enjoyed his thanksgiving, apparently. All in all, the rest of the visit was great. I got to spend time with my grandmother again who I haven't seen in years and I won the wishbone contest! Let's see if wishes really do come true. Oh, and for who is interested- I'm giving my brother a plug- my brother, Jason and his fiance, Janet have compiled a chatbook of both of their writings and Janet did all the illustrations.
