Here's something interesting...the only people that seem to be getting me any paid acting work are Indians. Well, okay. The director who hired me to shoot his documentary on Native American reservations is a Native American and the job I got hired to fight direct for the HBO Vampire movie (which will no longer be HBO)...the director is from India. They're both Indian to me! It's a good thing for those people because their helping me launch my career. Oh, so apparently this director pitched his movie idea to Cinemax and they loved it, but wanted more nudity. Go figure. So, he (the director) has a distributor that's hitting the major movie studios. In the meantime, I met with him last night for 3 hours and we're both really excited- bouncing tons of ideas around. We have a pow-wow (no pun intended) with the actors on Saturday and start filming Sunday. I told him I've committed to his project, but also wanted to let him know upfront that I'm pursuing acting...so he gave me a role. My character is one of the 4 members of the "girl vampire posse". At long last, I get to fight my fights on film. Very exciting. I don't want to say much else...superstition, you know. The whole Indian, fate thing. This should get a conversation rolling...:)
