As promised, here's a re-cap of the show I performed last weekend. I'm hoping at one point to provide pictures because there's a really cool one of the pool.

So in this "speed theater", we got down to the final stretch this past weekend. There was a very short discovery process...but there WAS a discovery process and an interesting connection between the cast. Even in that short of time, it's amazing how things can come together. It's the trading spaces phenomena!

Anyway, friday night was run-thru upon run-thru. Saturday was spent going over any final notes and changes. It's great because all of our rehearsals took place in the DUMBO area of Brooklyn...which is steps away from the most unbelievable view of the Manhattan skyline and as a chocolate connoisseur, Jacque (french, ugh) Torres's chocolate shop is a yummy stop.

So, back to acting. Once we finished rehearsals at DUMBO, we all piled our way down to the theater. Ofcourse we got there so early, we had to wait for the wedding reception to finish. Too many drunk women...so little tolerance. Anyway, the place was packed. In the back of the theater is a wall to wall stage, then a audience with a bar to the side, and in the front is a 6" deep pool. The audience loved it...we managed to take a "Documentary script" and turn it into a farse. It was a good time!
