2004-03-30 11:39 AM The Looking Glass Strikes again! Read/Post Comments (0) |
I wrote a journal a while back about an audition with the Looking Glass Theater in which all four directors called me back to read for their plays. So, even though none of them cast me for that particular season, one of the directors called me out of the blue last week, told me she was really impressed with the callback I gave therefore keeping my name in her file, and asked if I wanted to do a piece she's directing now.
So, here's the details for any of you that don't have plans Saturday night and want to come hang out with me in Williamsburg...Brooklyn, not Virginia. If you end up in Virgina, you'll be very lost. But you could just keep driving to North Carolina, pop over to my parents house, and meet the Easter Bunny of the South! Naturally, Snickers is the Easter Bunny of the North. Okay, anyway... "Thor Heyerdahl's died and gone to Heaven" is a short play about the life of Thor Heyerdahl, explorer, and the many people he encountered...including me, his first wife with the most lines. :) It's in a collection of short plays for the evening, there's a bar and a pool...which I end up sitting in for the latter part of the show...actually just the last 30 seconds it's really freakin' cold! Anyway, it's at: Galapagos Art Space 70 North 6th Street Williamsburg 7pm $8 (sorry, no comps) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
