Just a quick note, if your in the New York area and want to celebrate Shakespeare's birthday, the Instant Shakespeare Company is doing readings tomorrow at 1pm of all of Shakespeare's sonnets. It's free. I'm not able to go, but if you're interested go to Jefferson Market Library at 6th Ave and 10th St...it should be lots of fun. These guys do staged readings of Shakespeare's plays all over New York. A few years ago, I was one of the witches in "Macbeth"!

In dedication of the Bard's big day, I thought I'd crash an audition this morning!

Roundabout Theatre (Broadway) was having an open call for a "me" this morning for the new play "Fiction" by Steven Dietz. Because it was only a call for actors equity (union members,) I thought I'd try my luck at being an alternate. However, luck was not on my side and they were not willing to see any non-equity. In any event, I left my headshot and resume. Maybe the casting director will see it and insist on bringing me in for an audition.

...Or I could just wake up.
