It is a very rare find that I see 2 awesome movies one weekend, both musicals, and the title characters were both named Jimmy Rabbit!!!

"8 Mile" was brilliant! I really enjoyed Eminiem (B. Rabbit/Jimmy) and he wasn't playing himself as most would argue. He tells a story in the world that he knows first hand. He approaches his acting using the same techniques he emplores as a rap artist which cuts through the dead weight of the movie and sticks to the reality and truth of the story. Loved it, loved it, loved it! (Mom, you will hate it. :))

"The Commitments" - an Irish version of "That Thing You Do" was equally as awesome. A must see for any musician! It also features Andrea Corr (The Corrs) in her acting debut.

On the acting front, I got an audition for a Comedy Central Promo but the Casting Director must have changed his mind because he didn't leave any audition details with my agent.
Ugh!
