Here's something scary.
As I walked into work yesterday (I work downtown New York on Water Street), I was watching this bus make a b-line down the road and suddenly heard the breaks squeal. Didn't think too much of it...bad drivers and New York kind of go hand in hand. When I went out for lunch, I noticed all the cops around and then saw a lump in the middle of the road that was covered in yellow plastic. When I got home and turned on the news, I heard that bus hit a 65 year old woman who was riding her bike across the street and kept going. Had no idea he had killed her.
Always makes you appreciate what your mom taught you...look both ways before you cross the street for stupidly, irresponsible drivers.
