Birthday Weekend

I'm officially 29 and loving it!!! So my birthday week started this past Thursday with a surprise from my co-workers who threw me a party. It was actually for me, my boss, and my co-worker who are all 2 days apart. Image 3 Leos in one department...talk about your egos! So we had a fantastic party with yummy cake. The next day my parents arrived from North Carolina and we went to see Spamalot which was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Then headed to Uncle Nicks for some greek cuisine and drinks!
Saturday we got the heritage trolley in Times Square and did a tour which the History Channel sponsors and the guides drive you all over town and tell historical facts about New York. That was really interesting. Since we had Greek cuisine(mom's side) the night before I thought we'd go for the Swedish cuisine for lunch in homage to my dad. So we headed to one of my favorite hangouts downtown...Smorgas Cafe and got our fix of meatballs! After lunch we headed up to Chinatown for some much needed Knock-offs and were successful! Then headed up to the West Side Pier to catch the Twilight tour and see New York by Boat.I had done the twilight tour before and it was cool to do again. Once the tour was over, we grabbed a bite at Jack Dempsey's and headed back home to bunny.
The heat and humidity had been SOOO BAD that we opted to stay in on Sunday and hang out at my pool on my roof. That was fun! Then we got ready for my super duper PARTY!!! Party was awesome! All my friends showed up and danced the night away...well, most of them. They were all drinking though. Everyone seemed to have a really great time. I was actually so paranoid by making sure everyone was having fun and catching up and making sure I danced a lot that I completely forgot to eat. Braglia insisted I have a piece of my cake and it was SOOO super Yum!!! Once the party was over we headed back and crashed HARD.
Monday...day of departure. Got a call from my Godparents in Switzerland which was so cool to catch up and from my best friend Anna back in North Carolina. My aunt and her daughters came over for a visit that morning and then took my parents to the airport. I took a nap once the apartment was empty.
Such a great weekend!!! Oh, I also got a call for an audition tonight...so that's an extra birthday present. Wish me luck!!!
