Mood:
a bunny's dilemma

Most animals have very clear language whether they like you or not. They're affectionate. Bunnies...or should I say..my bunny is a very specific animal. He's a wonderful host and generally likes everyone upon a first impression. Beyond that, he's quite judgemental. It's all in the behavior of his tail.

Whilst in his company, if he's annoyed by you, he'll pee on you. Not as a sign of territory..it's more like...been there done that and then moves on to something shiny.

If you're average in his company, he does a slight tail lift and leaves "presents" to remember him by after he hops away.

If he's really taken with you and practically in love with you, he'll smush down as a puppy would and let you pet him. Meanwhile, he hides his "presents" under his tail, peruses his turf and eats them in front of you as you carry on a conversation with him. Some cultures consider this to be lucky...others consider it to be vile.

Such a complicated creature...

I just thought I'd share. ;)
