Okay so...a lot to cover.
THE BUNNY EXPRESS For all New Yorkers, Metro North offers a "bunny train" which doesn't really specify a destination, but it doesn't matter because you get to go on a rockin' train ride and take pictures with a bunny and there's games and prizes! Snickers is up for the adventure of his life! Any chance he has, he likes to show those who "portray" bunnies who is boss. He's really very sensitive about the issue and if there's candy involved I could probably get him to Grand Central. ;) PET FOOD It's been in the news recently (yes, I DO watch the news) that the wet food our furry friends consume is contaminated and is causing kidney failure. One theory is the wheat gluten that gives animals that extra bit of protein was tainted. Right now, the "Cuts and Gravy" pouches and cans are being recalled immediately. They are still researching other possibilities, but it seems to be the consensus thus far. If that is the case, for the kitty lovers, here's a list of Gluten Free Low Carb foods that are not in recall: BRAND: FANCY FEAST Tender Beef Feast (brown label color) Tender Beef & Liver Feast (magenta) Tender Beef & Chicken Feast (red) Gourmet Chicken Feast (dark pink...be careful, this looks just like another chicken variety with gluten!) Turkey & Giblets Feast (olive green) Tender Liver & Chicken Feast (orange) Chopped Grill Feast (kelly green) Flaked Fish & Shrimp Feast (true blue) Savory Salmon Feast (orange) Flaked Ocean Fish Feast (pink) Tuna and Oceanfish Feast in Aspic (teal label) This makes me sick because recently one of my best friends two cats died within a month of each other...from kidney failure...and this is what she fed them...mainly Iams. For the latest updates, please be a responsible parent and check out the following: http://www.menufoods.com/recall/index.html Just goes to show, feeding animals from the dinner table sometimes isn't such a bad thing. My scare of course came months ago when there was the bagged spinach fiasco and I put Snickers on fruit for like a week solid. He was....hyper. What else....oh! AUDITIONS Have an audition tonight to be a zoologist at the wildlife theater in Central Park! I'm SOOOOOO Excited!!!!!!! Have to put in a cameo for you know who. ;) Audition on Friday for Shakespeare on the Sound. They're doing "Comedy of Errors" this summer so that should be tons of fun. No word yet on the air date for Lufthansa. VISITORS Finally I'm really excited because my cousin Jeremy who I haven't seen in forever is coming in for his brother's bachelor party, my other cousin Spencer, on Easter Weekend. So we're going to meet for brunch. I don't do bachelor parties. That's going to be a crazy weekend. I have an all day dance workshop on Saturday and going to the bar with my cowgirls that evening. The next day is Easter and it's a certain someone's special day so I'll scoot out for a short time for brunch and come back to the Easter Egg Hunt. ;) Also, my other cousins Missy and Katie are looking at coming into the city in June for a weekend.
