2008-01-04 2:22 PM thank goodness we're almost through with the modelthon. i'm telling you, i lost sleep, how pathetic am i? really?
i stayed up until 4 a.m. one morning and then got up at 8:30. maybe i need that. maybe i don't expend enough energy for it to be a problem. all i know is modelthon is almost over. then i'm sure i'll be hooked on project runway or the amazing race (i love this show!), or some other reality based show. have you guys noticed that there is no more "fictional" based shows on the air anymore, or good comedies (i love sit-coms) it's all reality. which is, basically, not really reality. i remember last year, the pbs station (i think) followed several couples for several years to show how their lives progressed. or the documentary on school children in a certain section of london that were followed for over twenty years (i believe it was in seven year increments)...now that is reality tv. go to the projects and follow the lives of ten kids. let's see where they show up in twenty years. god knows i'm in a lot different place than i was twenty years ago. reality is fascinating, but it also sucks. real reality. not "contrived jerry springer reality" ;-) Read/Post Comments (5) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
