2008-06-18 1:53 PM wow, that was almost too easy what is one of the worst dreads in american life?
the dmv! how many jokes and insults have been hurled their direction. but today i found myself in dmv heaven. it was as empty as a graveyard and you could almost hear echos bouncing off the walls. i walked right up, showed my ss card, nc driver's license and my birth certificate (so old that the vital information consisting of name and birth date are actually hand written). no test, no proof of insurance. a few questions and a god awful pic later, bada bing, bada boom. i am now licensed in the state of florida (and a registered voter.) z-man got a state i.d. and also registered to vote. not only that...the lady was *gulp* nice and pleasant. am i in some parallel universe? wow! it'll probably be the only time i can say, "i actually enjoyed going to the dmv." ;-) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
