2008-06-20 8:16 AM i am almost packed luckily (not lucky really, i knew i'd be moving again, if only to a smaller place here) i didn't unpack most of my stuff. i sorted through my clothes yesterday, something i hadn't done in a long time, and threw away a bunch.
the only thing i have left to pack is the kitchen, which really isn't all that much. i do have to go through and repack or rearrange my art box. i have a huge box filled with art stuff that is out of control. it might actually take another box to get it in line. i talked to the leasing agent the other day and she told me my address and gave me the apartment number. after consulting the sheet in my "welcome package" i see that my new place is in the last building, second to the last apartment (in said building) which will put me (are you ready?) TWO blocks from the beach. i don't know how tall the other buildings are across the street, but i am hoping that from my balcony i will be able to see the ocean. in any case, i plan on erecting my easel out there to do some painting. and i need to buy a bike lock for my morning jaunts to the oceanside park. i have my truck rented and a week from today, z-man and i will go down there, sign the lease, and see the apartment before traveling back up to n.c. to get our moving helper. i only hope the brown beast will hold out for me. i still have lots to do in between...i do hate moving, but this move will be a little easier because i don't have much to pack. i'm getting a little excited...lol so i'm off to accomplish a few of my last minute details. ;-) Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
