I'm old, Z is 21

of course, i was told iceback "might not" be able to make it down here, as of thurs. well, look, i might even have documented it in here that iceback, with all his intellect, couldn't quite master the political part of jobs. (kind of a sad statement in and of itself)

so a 21 yr old became his boss. and even before i left, the 21 yr old had a big time napolian complex.

seems last week (really? why did it take so long? three years?) the napolian complex caught up with him.

perfect timing as usually happens with me and iceback, and z's life. (if it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all)

however, i can understand that...job or family. but i was willing to give him job, if it full-filled him. he thinks i only did that for my own monetary-through-him gains. which means, he didn't know me whatsoever.

we expected him down saturday, he tells z thurs he might not make it down but to text him when z gets off work on friday.

z did. no response. i called him twice fri night. no response. i emailed (twice or three times) no response.

today, on z's birthday he calls and says he left his cell phone at work. gee, in the last five-six years i've known him, his cell has been a part of his body. we took him out for a birthday and he spent the day texting someone on the other side of the world. i've known him to leave his cell behind maybe once in that time period. in this job, he's always on call and always has to have his cell phone. so why when his boss (who really shouldn't have had the job to begin with) is suspended (read, fired) now all of a sudden in a crisis situation, he forgets his cell phone? besides that, he has keys to the building. so why didn't he go get the phone? if he is such a buddy with the neighbors then surely one of them would have given him a ride to get his phone.

and then a course, when he got to work on monday (z's birthday) cell phone was dead.

cell phone aside, he has a laptop. you have a laptop. even if you didn't know how to get a hold of him on it (really, knowing z, reasonable) you knew how to get a hold of me.

i smell an excuse. and the last thing this boy needs is another excuse from another man who is suppose to be his dad.

maybe we can call dire economic problems into the equation...oh, that's right, last time the economy collapse below us I was the one who held it all together within our "family"

how soon they forget.

Oh, i'm the one obsessed with money. but most who know me know i just want to be able to pay my bills with a little left over for necessities.
