Fixing Up

I've been really depressed for a year or so. But now I've decided it's time to fix up my place.

Initially, I did this to show the Iceback we don't live in the armpit of Hell.

Now, I'm really getting into it. My neighbor gave me some frames that I think I will paint black to show my photography. I'm quite proud of these photos even if the printing of them left more to be desired (I am after all, on a limited budget)

My plants on my patio are thriving and before long I will have some nice lights strung up. It will be a kind of oasis.

I plan on painting one wall in my bedroom a color (I'm thinking red, I always wanted red in my bedroom) and I have yet to decide. I plan on painting one wall in my living room a color as well.

I'm finally awakening out of this fog..some people claim everlasting love but don't really know the meaning of it. And what's more, they can't put forth the effort of working through it.

Last night we took Asche to the ocean to teach her how to swim. And Asche did an awesome job. My friend, Tracy (she has such a sad sad story) taught Asche how to lift her head when the waves roll in. Asche did awesome and she now knows how to swim.

Soon, I will have an herb garden. I brought an aloe vera back to life so maybe I'm not the grim reaper of plants that I thought I was, afterall. I'm learning, I'm growing and too bad the one who said he go with me on this journey, gave up...or as I like to refer to it...QUIT.

Quitters NEVER win.
