2011-02-02 5:31 PM I went to the beach today. I actually went three times in the past two day.
lordy, what peace I get from going to the beach. I took my sketch pad (and I suck at sketching) and wrote a lot of stuff down. I don't draw well, but the clarity I get from sitting on the beach both in my writing and what I should do artistically is worth it. I think I have a new collage idea. I worked on another and then the bow broke (my husband booted me for his assistant, he denies it, but I know.) I will try to do it again only I don't have the natural elements I had in NC and some of them were broken in transit. I'm slow, I am, but I'm careful not to repeat what someone else does or play with someone else's work. I'm a purist in that respect whether it be art or writing.
