Sometimes I say things and then I can't believe I've actually said them.

The following is what I said to LB this evening, or at least a close approximation of it, "Daddy is going to play with guns. Can you say gun?"

OK, explanation now. Phil and I went to a multi part birthday party, I went on the horseback ride this afternoon, we all went to the BBQ, and then Phil went with the group to the shooting range and I took LB home to go to bed. As LB and I headed out from the BBQ, he asked about daddy, so I told him the above. Only after I said it did I realize what I'd said. Silly me.
