LB turns 2 years old in just one week. Eek!!

Every time we tell him that his birthday is coming up he responds with, "Get presents?" I've no idea where he's picked that up as we've never said it to him, in recent times. Perhaps from Dora? Perhaps from somewhere else, I don't know.

We're doing a family party on the 11th in the evening, and then we're doing a kids party on Saturday. I decided to go the relatively simple way-do it at the house with almost all kids close to his age. We're doing it from 10-noon so it's before nap too. Hopefully this'll work out well. I got some foam door hangers and picture frames and some adhesive foam shapes and letters and will have that set up as a craft for the kids at the party-mostly for the parents to do with the kids, but still, I hope it'll be fun.

I've sooooooo much to get done to get ready for the party-food, decorations, house clean-up, craft area set up, etc... (pray for sun please so we can be outside for some of it).

I just hope LB has fun at his birthday party!!
