Another potty seat episode. It should be noted that the only thing to happen between the previous one and this one were a couple of times he asked to sit on it, but nothing happened. In fact one of those time, he wouldn't even let us take off his shorts or diaper.

After being out for a while this evening, we came home and I got LB ready for bed, then we brushed teeth, drank some water, and he read one book with Daddy, then off to his bedroom. We did hugs, kisses, and snuggles as normal, then put him in bed, he started to settle in with all his animals, but then stood up and said, "what can I do now?" to which Daddy responded, "You can go to sleep." but he was insistent and started stepping funny. Daddy asked him if he needed to use the toilet, he said yes, then we sort of looked at each other, wondering if this was a delaying tactic or not. Finally, after more questions, he seemed to genuinely want to use it, we took him out of bed and into the bathroom. Took off PJ's and diaper, he sat down on the potty and sure enough, a few seconds later, he peed. When done he stood up and was clearly done. Then back to bed, with extra snuggles and praise.

Now if we can just get him to use the potty seat more frequently!!
