We buy some 12c fish at the store to feed to the snake. The snake was amused, but didn't eat them. So I stuck them in a plastic tub for a week, feeding them beta food, even. After a week, I figure I might as well get a real aquarium for them. But before that, I give them fresh, de-chlorinated, room-temp water.
They were dead when I got back with the aquarium. Of course! So I just had to go back and get the see-through catfish instead. Too neat. I need to find some more colored glass things to go on the bottom, too, 'cause the gravel they sell is just not blue enough. So maybe tomorrow I'll actually, oh, I don't know, GET SOMETHING WRITTEN. It could happen. I've actually been getting in a couple hundred words a day, but have yet to manage finishing this story. Yes, the same story I was whining about last time. I'm kind of scared to see if it's going to be over 5k when I get it typed in. It's currently residing in my notebook in longhand, they way they usually do. That's enough excitement for now. Yeah. Or something. Currently Reading: "The War Hound and the World's Pain" by Michael Moorecock Recommend: "Gregory" by Marc Kempel Stories out: 7 Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
