Andreas is off again, this time to Maryland. Bleh. So I took the opportunity this morning to try to tame the tomato-gone-kudzu. There was a bit of an ownership dispute right away. See, I think I own the tomato plant just because I bought the seeds, planted it, and periodically go out and contain it. The bumblebee, however, thought it was his because it has all these yellow flowers that the plant put out just for him. He's got a point. So the next 15 minutes or so were a careful choreography of me trimming the plant around the bee, switching sides with him to tie up the plant, and generally getting a really good closeup of a very distracted bee. Those weren't pollen sacks, they were saddlebags.

I've taken a stab at cleaning and decided I need a bigger knife. Or more organizing thingies. And a rug or two. All of this requires going outside and dealing with people.

On the other hand, I should probably get several thousand words written because I'm a slacker.

So, since I have all of these things that need doing, what am I doing? Procrastinating! Writing a journal entry that is only interesting to pretty much me. And possibly the bee, but he can't read and he doesn't listen very well.
