So every 6 months or so I get the urge to change my blog format. It mixes things up, reawakens my vigor for writing, and presents another reason to push my homework aside for just a few more minutes.

Some may object to the changes, although they should understand it's for the best (kind of like when the Washington Post started printing the front page in color, a fateful day, January 28, 1999). Sometimes I loose some readers doing this; sometimes I gain readers. Since my readership is so modest, I don't think I have much to lose.

So here we go, Journalscape. May the next six months be fruitful, merry, wise, and downright scintillating.

Hm, I can't figure out how to import photos on here. Where's that button...
