Delancy Street is the organization I bought our lovely Christmas tree from this year. This foundation runs a lot of tree lots in the East Bay. If you are getting a tree this year, it might be worth it to ramble on over to Delancy. We got a nice 6' Noble Fir for $65. They even give you the stand, water bowl, all the trimmings you want for your mantle, and they hoist it onto your car without grimmacing. The guy who was helping us, however, was high on something. But harmless, nonetheless.

The infrastructure is being laid for a very interesting party that will be held on Bateman Street this Friday eve. I wonder when my roommate will start putting the lights on the tree...along with the trimmings...

Back to work...
