Music Genome Project

On other fronts, I have started a data and writing project I was supposed to be working on for the last two plus weeks. For the next 10 days, I will be making and manipulating a very sexy spreadsheet. Yes, I will say that again.

a sultry, sexy, (and hopefully subdued) spreadsheet - one that screams with obvious correlations and such!

The weather has taken a nice turn. I may go up to Tahoe for the first time in my life on Monday. I do not plan to ski due to my semi-invalid status, just having had corrective laser eye surgery on Thursday. Doctors orders. I may bring something to draw with and look for an inspiring perch somewheres...

I still haven't driven my car yet this break. Wait, I did take it into the city to pick up some luggage. I am worried the Fox is slipping into an unresponsive state of retirement. Its oil light has proven finicky the last two times I have driven it despite pouring many liters of Penzoil 10-40W into it. I guess when cars get old, similar to humans, they become averse and testy about being moved.

News on the Georgia front: My plane ticket has been purchased, courtesey of the Friends of Historic Downtown Louisville. I shall investigate what is going on in this hamlet the first weekend in February, hopeful to enjoy some bourbon along the way and get first hand experience of rumored southern hospitality.
