Big sigh of relief. It's one thing to like what you write, and another thing completely to have someone say "you've done your job right." Now, it's not ready for shooting -- he has some notes -- but that I expected. To be able to perfectly capture his vision in the first pass would have been an incredible feat. There are things about the character development that he thinks are "too subtle." Meaning (I hope) that he saw what I was going for, but thinks it needs to be a little more obvious for the general masses. "Too subtle" could also be a code word for "I didn't get it" or "what were you thinking?" but I'll find out on Thursday when we meet face-to-face to go over the script. I refuse to fret over what his notes are. I'll know them soon enough. For the next couple of days, I'll enjoy the feeling of accomplishment. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
