Proving that there is no death in Hollywood, I received an e-mail today from the independent director for whom I wrote a short film over a year ago. ( See the act one of this particular subplot.) He's finally casted the lead character, and is working on a shooting schedule. He plans to make a casting call in BACKSTAGE WEST or HCD ONLINE and finally getting this project off the ground.

I don't really know what to think except that I'll believe it when I see it, I guess. But it's still neat that this script hasn't hit the dustbin yet!
