2002-11-19 1:29 PM Apparently, silence is good Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Happy I called my agent today, to invite her to lunch. I want to discuss career growth with her, both with the things that she thinks I should be working on, and the body of work I have accomplished to date. I have several features that are sitting unread, and I want to get them out. I also want to make sure my TV course is correct, and to strategize another spec to work on and see what she can market. Finally, I want to talk about when I should start making cold calls to companies, to help broadcast the scripts that I do have.
So, when she returns from the holidays on the first week of December, we'll get together. The nice surprise is that she's already sending out the Buffy spec I gave her weeks ago. I had dropped it off but she never gave me any comments. Apparently, none were necessary. She liked the story, thought I had the voices, I'm on with the show's style, and no rewrite necessary. Most excellent! Now I just have to finally polish the rewritten Crossing Jordan for her return and our luncheon. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
