I had an excellent lunch with JoAnn today. We talked about a variety of topics, including this year's staffing season and my Jordan script. She's sent my Buffy out to several places, including Spelling Entertainment (among other shows, they produce Charmed). It's definitely good to know that my material is getting read.

As far as other works, she has synopsis of my features, good ideas for my Jordan, full support for me making my own calls, networking advice, and confidence in me as a writer. The last is more implied than explicit, but I definitely came away feeling as though I don't have to worry about her dropping me by the wayside.

And, her advice is to start making calls sooner rather than later. So, once I have learned a bit more from my class, it's back to the phones I go.
