Today I reconnected with John (from the adaptation project) and chatted with him. The adaptation may still be going on, so there may still be something happening there. Apparently the author is also trying to sell a series, and that might come to something to. John as also done a verbal agreement (pending the lawyerese written deal) to do a production budgeted at 5 mil. I think he meant produce.

However, I'll clear that up at lunch next Tuesday where we'll reconnect, I'll see what ideas he has for my career, and he may ask me to give an opinion on the script that he's just made the deal for.

Next week is all lunch. Lunch with JoAnn (if we can get together), lunch with John, and lunch with a friend of mine who's in my same boat. We're going to talk shop, swap notes & scripts and use each other for resources.

I need to budget more time at the fitness center...
